Considering buying a notebook

I finally made the decision to buy a notebook and get rid of my old PIII.

I am between Dell Inspiron 6000 and IBM Thinkpad Z60m.

I would like to ask for your advice on what to choose between these 2 laptops. I never owed a laptop before so i don't know exactly what to be looking for in terms of specs.

I will be using it for my studies, internet, dvds and some basic gaming.

The Dell link doesn't display the lappy... says you need to adjust your order.

If you plan on doing any gaming, avoid integrated graphics up front. The ThinkPad doesn't offer the option to customize the graphics, the Dell model does.

Get the peppiest CPU you can, and go for a gig of RAM. A largish hard drive ain't a bad idea either.
