Default Conroe compatible mobo?

Just a quick question. Will Foxconn 975X7AA-8EKRS2H Socket T (LGA 775) Intel 975X ATX Intel Motherboard be conroe compatible. Because im trying to find some parts to work with it before it comes out so I will be ready to build. Im looking to get the E6300 by the way.

Well my honest opinion is no. Im not saying it wont work, but before you drop $200 on a board you are not sure of... My suggestion is that you hold off and only buy boards that you know will work 100%...

Conroe Support:
Revision 304 of the Intel D975XBX chipset, as well as any board using a 965 series chipset will be compatible

INTEL i7 930
3x2gb Corsair Dominators

yes it will chipset 975X is made for conroe but the only support single graphic card. want crossfire or sli go for another chipset of go for the 965 chipset that supports conroe.

All of the i975x boards with work but no the best.

i965 is meant just for it - newer revisions of i975x will be better.

From what I heard, the ATI and NVidia boards coming out soon may acutaully be much better than what intel has to offer. (due to the memory controller)

it might not work so well with it, or wont recognize it [will work but it'll show you another cpu name and stuff].

Not all the 975X Boards has been programed and designed to work with a core 2 dou, intel loves to replace chipsets and play with the revisions for every little thing.
