Connect computer to TV via SVHS( S video) cable

HI,

I planning to connect my rig to a TV, the output of my graphic is with a 9pin Svideo, is it possible to connect 4 pin Svideo cable?

yes there are adapters you can get just about any electronics store.

I personally just splice them open.... (the last 9-pin variety i opened had 2 wires, the 4-pin had 2, just like a typical coaxial cable)

and as a matter of fact, you can directly hook up the 2 wires (ground and positive) to a Coaxial RCA cable and use it for your TV


This is the lazy way of doing it, i didnt feel like going to radioshack.

But yes, they make adapters=)

ahh so i still need a converter to connect 9pin to 4 pin ?
