Default computer wont start

hi all.. i recently build a new pc. the components are

case : Antec - Nine Hundred II Computer Case
motherboard : MSI - ATX Desktop AMD Phenom II Motherboard (Socket AM3)
cpu : AMD Athlon II X3 720 3.0GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Processor
graphic : Asus - ATI Radeon HD 4850 1GB GDDR3 PCI Express Graphics Card

the problem im getting now is that after i set everything up.. i strarted the computer... but shortly after the computer started running, it shuts off by itself... i dont even have the time to install windows, it just simply shuts off by itself. i tried reading the manual several times but the manual is kinda simple and doesnt help much, so does any 1 use the similar build as mine that can help me solve the problem

I had this problem twice with new builds.

First time I just went into the BIOS and selected reset system defaults, saved, and rebooted and no more shut downs.

Second time I had to go into the BIOS and input the CPU Speed and set the Ram Timings.

Not sure what you have tried, but these are pretty easy to do.

are you using two sticks of ram to start. if you are try starting with one stick first. also go the mfgs website for your ram and see what voltage it is suppose to run at. just in case your motherboard isnt recognizing the ram.
