computer speakers for $80CAD

hello ppl

i want to get the most powerful 2.1 speakers i could find for $80 canadian. these are some that i've found.. tell me what you think of them

lol so ya those are 5 i'm considering. other than wattage, i really don't knwo what else to look at. and some of them don't even give you the wattage anyways.. any help is much appreciated! thx.

#'s 1,4 and 5 r good. logitech and creative r both good companies. i would prolly choose #1 just because of the awesome deal right now

1,4, and 5 are all rated at 40watts.

whats the difference b/w 4 and 5 tho? they look a lot alike, and both logitech, and have same power rating... except one is z3e and the other is z3i... and the z2i is a bit cheaper..

ok so i'm on the logitech website and it sayd "award winner" next to the z3 speakers. so i click on it to see the award, and this is what it says:

anyways i think i've decided to go with those, what you guys think? the creative ones you gotta do the mail in rebate and i don't feel like doing that, hehe..

the thing about buying speakers online..you dont know how they really sound. when i was looking for some i saw 2 sets of speakers- one with a big sub and 2 speakers for 100$ or another set for 80$ with a smaller sub.


tested them out and voila:
80$-small sub sounds clean regular speakers (tweeters) sound clean and not too much treble.
100$-sub could not go half as loud as 80$ sub without heavy distortion. regular speakers sounded good but not that good.

ends up i went with the 80$ speakers and im still have them

(In my opinion it'd be better to go to a local store and see how speakers sound(hear how they sound for that matter) than to take a guess online by there looks and cost )

well there are reviews as well. i ended up getting the logitech z2300 since they were on sale at bestbuy. online reviews were really good. i haven't tested them though. i hope they're good!

with computer speakers you don't always have the chance to audition them. thx for the advice tho!
