Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM hard drive $99.00

TOTAL $1,517.30

is this overkill, am i paying to much or is it right???

its neither perfect nor overkill.

What is it that you plan on doing with this computer? Are you located in Canada? Your prices seem quite high even for Canada.

Possibly Australia? I have to agree, the 240 is actually sort of weak if this is a gaming machine.

I agree. I'm no computer expert, but you should look around. I like the google products feature personally.

Intel I7 920 (If this is the same)

Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 Motherboard (Free shipping)

Antec EA750 750W

Zalman CPUCooler CNPS10X FLEXT 120MM PWM

XFX GeForce GT 240 Graphics Card

Plus the ones I wasn't sure which one to select/wouldn't be cheaper I added it all up to $1,236.77

That right there cut off $280.53

well its far from overkill. If this is going to me used as a gaming machine then that gpu isn;t really gonna cut it, unless it is older, less demanding games. But it also depends on the res and settings you want to play at as well i guess.

Remember with a i7 920 you want 3 sticks of ram for triple channel. so go for 3x2gb.

Loose the Zahlman heatsink for something like the sunbeam core contact 120.

What store are you using down under so we can see if we can find a better overall setup for your dollar.
