I would say the first one but I would wait for someone else to confirm that. They will however need to know the resolution of the monitor you plan to get.

Your getting this from Cyberpower or Ibuypower..

I recommend building this yourself...

But the second one is better.. its got two HD 4850's as opposed to the i7 build which has 1..

the 1st one's CPU is better

I'm surprised that you say that. The first one has a better CPU, more RAM, faster RAM and a more powerful PSU (of course we both know that means nothing but I don't even recognise sigma shark).
And OP yes in an ideal world, build your own, you get much better results.

Well think about it this way...

Games like pure GPU and CPU... At higher res' the Phenom might actually top the FPS of the Core i7 because its got two HD 4850's over just 1 of the Core i7..

While I think for the price both systems stink, the Phenom would be the better performer at higher resolutions, at lower resolutions the HD 4850 in CFX are nearly useless, and would rely more on the CPU (in which case the Core i7 wins)

Idk, I'd say have him build it himself, and be better off..

haha I'm not much of a gamer as you may or may not know so I was pretty much taking an educated stab. Give me a nice, quiet PC, a logitech keyboard and a compiler and I am a happy man lol
