compatibility question

I'm wondering if anyones knows if I can put an Intel Celeron D processor into a AsusTek K8V-X SE mainboard. I really don't feel like yanking the processor out, to discover that I can't... Sorry for the stupid question. : )

Seeing as the motherboard you mentioned is an AMD one, definitely not.

Yeah, I figured as much, but I didn't know if there were some random kind of i guess modification I could go about to do it. There goes hoping for the best, guess I'll hit the forums and attempt to find someone to help me OC this slow beast then. Thank you. : )
