Hello all,

I'm putting together my first computer for my mom, however I'm running into some issues. I've finished putting it together and it isn't posting anything to the monitor. I'm thinking that the problem is the video card because the beep from the motherboard is going off, the fans are working, the light on the mouse goes off, and the hard drive is running. Everything is new on this computer including a foxconn motherboard, seagate barracuda hard drive, masscool cpu fan, amd 1.58ghz sempron processor, case, ram, and cd rom. The only components that are not new are the floppy, the diamond video card, and power box that came off an abit/pentiumIII computer that was built in 1999.

Thanks in advance, Matt

BIOS beepcode... look in your mobo book for the beepcodes, if there not there, look up your motherboards beepcodes on google or summin

Maby your graphics card needs extra power? I remember when i installed mine and it was beeping, then i realised it had a little power socket.
