Combining two PC's

I have an extra PC lying around, it has a 2.6 ghz intel cpu and 512 ram. I wanted to what the best way how to use its components. I want to uprgrade the speed and storage on my normal computer. Should i just scrap parts from the old one like memory and harddrive , or is there a way to combine the two CPU's for extra power? Thanx!

Just take the parts or use it as a file server or something useful. Else it's just gonna collect dust. Give it to charity..

not the 2 procs but you could put the 512 ram in your other machine if it is compatible. You clould also use the hard drives and cd drives in the other. If you had a really good sound card in the other you could move that as well.

EBAY! you always have to love ebay, i bought a dualy Piii for $44 (thats freakin cheap cause it came with a crap load of stuff)
