my clock in the left hand corner of my toolbar on my laptop does not always keep accurate time why does it do that pleases help. it happens about twice a week

Check the battery on the motherboard. It might need to be replaced since its not holding anything.

I had this problem on my dell. Time would all the sudden stop for anywhere from 1/2 - 2 hours, then all the sudden the clock would start running again. It pissed me off all the time cause I'd be sitting there thinking its only midnight and I have to get up at 7 am, but then I'd notice on a different clock it was actually 2 am. It stopped happening when I DL'd SP2.
