How much does brand name matter in buying a laptop and is clevo a good enough brand?

nah bad experience with a little better known laptop
Averatec with a amd 3200+ i think, got it didnt work, sent back bought my rig

your better off goin with the better known laptop brands for warrenty/service wise...

i'm working on a clevo laptop as a favour for a friend at the moment. not the best of laptops but not the worst i've seen. unless its a really good bargain i would try and avoid the brand anyway, stick to the better known brands.
