Christmas Computer Build!

I'm looking to put together a computer for my mom for christmas, shes running on an old dell and I want to try to hook her up with something faster. She doesn't do any real gaming just cards here and there but her biggest problem (at least with the dell) is multi-tasking, her current computer seems to freeze up with the going gets tough so thats the only big thing she does. Other then that if you guys could find the parts off of Newegg because I have a card and stuff on there. Heres pretty much what I'm looking for...

Windows XP Home
Processor
MoBo
512-1gig of memory
120-200 gigs of hard drive space
Case (stylish..)
Audio and Video can be onboard or a cheap cheap graphics card
and lastly a monitor, 19' normal or widescreen.
all under 550-600$ (After shipping)

I wouldnt suggest a Dual core becuase i think a single core AMD64 is a mighty upgrade from her Celeron or petinum 4.
