you can get a pfc if you want one, its up to you. I personally don't have one. Even though the minimum requirements say to get 450, and antec 430 will power it just as well, but it wouldnt hurt to go with a more power ful one., but because its an antec truepower it wouldnt matter anyways.

thats the 430

heres a 480 for $10 more
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103929

I peronally would get this one its only $14 more than the 430 and its a beast.

However every one of those psus will power everything in your pc with no prob, even the 430. The g-card people put the minimum higher than it actually is for people with a crappy brand of psu. You could probally get a 380 antec and it would do just fine (dont hold me to that, i havnt tried it )

no, thats just the picture, its upside down, the fan points down in your case and sucks from the indide and blows out the back of the case.

Thats just how they show it, no cutting required

I like the 6800Xt it would do very well, the core speed is a little low, but thats just fine, and it supports sli incase you want to upgrade more down the road and have 2 of them babies. That would be my choice.

Fixed. On Newegg, an XFX 7600GT is only 170USD. (okay, so it's actually only 166. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150140)

PS. Napster, try not to triple post. You have an Edit button and it works just fine.

oh thank god i was right, no cutting ><....i dont have to worry much bout the psu cept on how it connects to the mobo right?

though i want to opt for a 512 card

by the way, what would happen if i only had 512 mb of ram in my comp? because the 512 cards suggest that I'd need 1 gig at least to take full advantage...

would i be able to use the card while I save up for more cash to upgrade the ram?

ya, only thing is how to connect it to the mobo, and thats no biggie, just 2 cords, or 1 depending on your mobo.

Yeah the card will play fine with 512 ram, but the games would play faster if they had 1gig to use. Keep saving for 1gig because there is a big difference between the two.

but you will be fine with 512 for now

so while i save up for a 1 gig or 2 gig (hehe, just for a good status jump)...i can use these cards

now all i have to worry bout is the psu, shouldn't be a hard thing, now that i know that the fan is meant to suck out air....>< no one ever says these things now a days on the online stores lol
