Forgive me if this was answered somewhere but I didn't see it.
I'm trying to find the 'perfect' motherboard for my first attempt in a computer build and having some issues.
I already have a Radeon HD 4850 and a lot of the boards I'm finding hit my requirements but the chipsets are nvidia. Is this OK to mix?
I won't be taking advantage of any type of SLI features anytime soon due to my current video card and currently I'm not all that interested in crossfire. I'm just concerned that I'll be paying for motherboard features I won't be using.
Am I assuming correctly, or are chipsets completely separate from everything else?
