hey thats a good build but he doesnt need keyboard/mouse and i would change the motherboard to this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813135209

As it has PCI-e ability which if she or anyone ever plans to put a video card in it, they'll have much wider choice than on the dieing AGP

I would also recommend increasing your budget and getting this case (ignore the PSU) and this power supply

Actually, that's a really good deal on the mobo and OEM processor, you basically get the processor for $30! I'll have to save that to that build.

Again, we're looking for a no-frills cheap PC. Kind of like a Dell 1100.

They call Intel Graphics high-performance? Pfft.

I guess their high-performance systems are good enough to power a rocketship

rofl, some of the specs on these things are flat out hilarious! man... im gonna have to do this sometime, and just build 4 fully functional computers with a $600 price cap. heh, i have programs that i can just run n having just basic running comps to do it will work, this is great. hmm just have to get some second hand half working keyboards and some really old track ball mice rofl, then just a flat pannel monitor to switch from one to the other whenever i need to check on stuff lol. intersting guys.

true that would be a good build but I also wanted it to be upgradable so I went for socket AM2, I would probably add more DDR2 and a dual core in future. Thanks for the help though
