Long story short, I suck at network related stuff, and have no idea what I'm looking for in a wifi card for my PC. According to the Asrock site, I have these PCI slots:
- 1 x PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot (PCIE1: x16 mode)
- 1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot (PCIE2: x4 mode)
- 2 x PCI slots
I will be gaming using this card, so it needs to be reliable, but I would prefer to stay under the £30 mark if I can. Not sure if it's important (figured i'd give as many details as possible) but these are my current internet speeds on my laptop, however it's in a house with 5 students so it gets busy:
PING: 14 ms
DOWNLOAD: 40.21 Mbps
UPLOAD: 3.11 Mbps
Honestly, i'll never need to go over this, so the cheapest wireless card that meets my needs would be immense.
Thanks,
Danny
