that's still a decent cpu...but ram is sorely lacking. See how many mem slots are available...and just see if you can pop in an extra 512 to that 256...if for anything else costs, it should be nothing.

run a 3 sessions of defrag...really. My old pavilions with similar or slower ghz ratings boot up in under a minute.
