Default Cases and power supplies

Will this Case
Newegg.com - HEC 6K28BB8F Black 0.8mm SECC Steel MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case

Fit this power supply
Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power RS550-PCARE3-US 550W ATX12V V2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply

I know that some power supplies are interchangeable. They can fit in both ATX and Micro ATX cases. How will I be able to tell looking at the specs?

It's hard to say with a MicroATX Mini Tower. It's designed for a small compact footprint so the smaller in size (dimensional) the better. And it's also best to use a power supply that is well ventilated. Most of the heat generated by the PC is exhausted by the power supply in a Mini Case design. And unlike most systems you want to buy a power supply with a limited number of cables as they occupy space and inhibit air flow.

Yes, it will fit. but I wouldn't go with a CoolerMaster PSU.

Either of these would be a better/safer bet, as well as give you more amps:
Newegg.com - Antec BP550 Plus 550W Continuous Power ATX12V V2.2 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
Newegg.com - OCZ Fatal1ty OCZ550FTY 550W ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

A few CoolerMater PSUs are good (see the PSU guide here), but these are the top end models.

What is your budget for the PSU, and what is your wattage requirements? I recommended models with the same wattage as what you originally posted.

I'm not sure what my wattage requirements would be though I've estimated about 400... My budget thus far for a PSU would be roughly $40. I showed my build to a buddy ans he said you may want to shoot for 500-550W PSU.

Edit: Okay I calculated 365w. So I wasn't far off. I'd like to shoot a little higher than this, I intend to upgrade in the future. I am comfortable around 450-550w.

I meant what wattage does your graphics card recommend? They always say more than you need, so getting at least that much wattage in a good PSU will cover you.

This is the card I will be getting

Newegg.com - XFX HD-577A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

I must have missed the part where it said 450w requirement. I'm assuming I will need to add the wattage of all other components before finding the right PSU? So I could be looking at well over 550w. Though the calc I used suggested otherwise.

A 550W should be OK for that card.

And that will leave enough wattage to power everything else? I will be running an AMD Phenom II x4 3.2GHz Deneb. It will be built with 4GB DDR, though I intend to splurge 8GB+ in the future...
