Cant finish building a computer

Ok I bought this motherboard online. http://www.gearxs.com/gearxs/product_info.php?cPath=75_105&products_id=8022 (with no manuel) I will never shop at this place again. (here is the company's info on the board: http://www.pcchips.com.tw/PCCWeb/Pr...ID=22&LanID=2&DetailID=259&DetailName=Feature )

Now I put in a Pentium 4 3.0ghz 800bus (hyper thread technology) with 640mb of 333 ddr ram.

I connect everything and when I turn it on, the only working items are the fans and dvd drive.

The problems that I have now are:

1. I do not know for sure if I connect the jumper cables right.

2. I have no clue why the rest don't work. I can't see the startup of the bios. The monitor just lays there like nothing is happening.

Can someone advise me?

Is the P4 CPU brand new, or used?
What type of thermal pad/paste did you use on the CPU?
What kind of cooling is being used for CPU, and is it mounted correctly?
Have BOTH the 20 pin and 4 pin (square) power cables been connected correctly to the motherboard?

Thank you guys. I did not mount correctly. So I went to redo everything. And I finally got it working.

best thing with electronics is to take your time to ensure that you don't overlook anything... I learned alot of lessons in the past the hard way, including why you NEED thermal paste/pad on the CPU... lol.. CPU die fuzing to the heat sink is NOT a good thing.
