Can't decide

At first I was going to get the GeForce 8800GTX. Then i realised the price £450 on EBay UK. So I thought I would get the Intel Core 2 Duo E6600. Now I have seen the GeForce 8800GTO.

Basicly, is there any difference considering frame rates and general graphics between the GTX and GTO considering there is like a £130 differece between them.

What should I get, I play games like Flight Sim x Battlefield 2142 and stuff and I like my graphics high. Should I get the GeForce 8800GTX, GTO or Intel Core 2 Duo E6600?

The 8800 would be a much better benefit in games than the E6600.

So 8800 > E6600

sry...im confused....are you talking about upgrading your gpu vs upgrading your system to core 2 dou? Also if your going to just play BF2142, FSX...a 7900gs is all you need for high settings..and when you have to start playing new gaems on mid settings...you'll prob have enough money again to get a dx10 card. So i would upgrade to c2d and get a 7900gs, then get a dx10 card latter.
