Default Can I just add a SSD?

I want to try out one of solid state drives. If I go buy one at Fry's can I just throw it in this PC?
HP Pavilion Media Center m8325f Desktop PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

I've done a little reading and read something about an eSATA cable? Not sure what that it, if I need one, or if I have one.

Also, I'll still need a regular drive in the PC as well to hold my iTunes. Any problems with doing this?

Thanks

SSD's are not really of any use unless you run them off the OS. Because their storage space is so small. Using it as a data drive is no gain.

eSATA is external SATA, what they use on some external drives/enclosures. You can not use eSATA unless you have an eSATA connector on your case/motherboard. SSD's are not eSATA.

An SSD is like any other HDD. Works the same way. The only difference in a SSD is that there are no moving parts.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to go buy one right now. 64GB is big enough to hold Win 7 and Office right? I plan on keeping a spare 500gb regular hard drive to hold my music and photos on.

Win 7 and Office is fine, yes. But put any games on a secondary drive, to free up space on your SSD.
