Hi
After three long years of having to stick with the same computer without any upgrade I finally have a opportunity to buy myself a new comp.It will be meant mostly for gaming.I hope to find a decent one that will hold for three years without any upgrade.
I almost collected everything:
Motherboard: Gigabyte K8NXP-SLI nForce4SLI SATA RAID AC97 2XLAN1000 i1394
RAM 2x1 Gb 400MHz GoodRAM – Dual
DVD Burner: DVD -/+ R/RW Pioneer DVR-110 16x DVD RAM
Hard drive:HDD 300 GB, Maxtor 7200 trn 16Mb Cache SATA150

That left me with 1500-1600 dollars for the graphics card and processor
and now I wonder what to buy.I decided on a Athlon X2 processor and a nVidia card. Now I have a few options:

buy a medium processor(Athlon 64 X4000+ maybe 4200+ and two cards (GF 7800GT 256MB)

buy a good processor (4600+ maybe 4800+) and a pair of worse cards (6600GT ,6800 or sth)

buy a good Processor and a good card (GF 7800GTX 256 MB)

Which of those would you prefer or maybe something different?
If you have any suggestions on the rest of my hardware then dont hesitate to give me your own opinion .

My funds for a comp with a mouse and keyboard are 2400 $

Thanks
