Ok, I was shopping around for 24" monitors with a 1920X1200 resolution capability...

Anyway... the top two I found in my budget were these:

I think its almost a toss up. The Scepter has better numbers, but they are not comparing contrast on and equal basis. Scepter is useing one method and KDS another, I think. So, I was wondering if you guys had any thoughts on the matter.

Sceptre looks good on paper but I've only seen sceptre tv's so I can't comment on their quality. KDS isn't bad either. You want higher contrast or brightness? I know you can find KDS at any store so I'd suggest going to take of a look.
 
I like the acer, but I was planning on limiting myself to under 300... That really doesn't leave me a lot of room to work.
The best two I found under 300 were those two.
