$185.00 for a 7600gs? you're better off buying one yourself for about 80 and just sticking it in. Snapping in a video card is pretty easy if you're against building... although everyone will tell you that you can build an identical system yourself for hundreds less.

and if you're going vista, go for the 64 bit version.

i say you should order your own parts and building the computer yourself from scratch. its surprisingly simple with a little bit of knowledge. motherboard manual walks you through everything pretty much.

the system minus monitor/keyboard/speakers etc, probably costed around 1400.

its better imo, and you can get a better graphics card (like a 7950gt) and you can afford to put in the 6600 instead of 6400.

i agree -

its a lot cheaper to buy a decent computer for $500 and spending $600+ on GREAT upgrades...youll save money and have a custom PC

Here is a pc which all you have to do is just put the wires and cards in the right slots and I'd say with over clocking it will be twice as good as the one you are thinking of buying:

Mobo: AW9D-Max
Cpu: e6600
Ram: G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) SDRAM DDR2 800
Videocard: Evga 8800gtx
harddrive: seagate barracuda 7200.10 320gb
optical drive: Wateva you want
Psu: Antec 550w true power trio

total= $1583 after rebates is $1523

That is a gaming set up and all you would need is a good case and monitor and that system will definately cain the *** of the one you have posted you can obviously remove some equipment and replace it with something slightly worse if you want to keep it exactly under 1500 dollars
