Prices on the egg are great as of right now. Kind of odd that even such a high end build like an i7 build can be had for around $1,000 even though we are in a recession.

No point waiting if everything is cheap.

If you are planning getting a Phenom II Quad or Core 2 Quad you should wait for Core i5 and Core i7 8xx series cpu's since they will be considerably faster. However if you are considering a i7 920 you wouldn't gain much by waiting.
