Default "Buy an External HD" or "Build an External HD"?

I need an 750gb external hard drive to play music off of it. So I am looking for something that is fast and reliable to play mp3 while I DJ with my laptop.
I was thinking about this samsung hard drive:
Newegg.com - SAMSUNG Spinpoint F1 HD753LJ 750GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
with this case(which i already own):
Newegg.com - Eagle Consus W-Series ET-CSWSIU2-BK 3.5" USB2.0 to IDE + SATA Aluminum External Enclosure - Retail
I know that the samsung is fast and it has 32mb cache.

But then I was looking around and I found this one:
Newegg.com - Western Digital My Book Home WDH1CS7500N 750GB 7200 RPM USB 2.0 / IEEE 1394a / eSATA External Hard Drive - Retail
Idk about its cache, idk which one is faster. Which one would be better for me?

Bad things happen to pple who buy the Mybook from WD. their completely unreliable Hard drives.

Use your case and this HDD
Newegg.com - Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST3500320AS 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
very reliable product

The western digital probably has 16mb of cache.
If you already have an enclosure just get the hard drive and save a few bucks.
