Its 754 because i got a mobo to replace the mobo i had and i had a processor all lined up and everything then my house burned up kinda lol lost my computer and got the mobo back from msi...afterwards so im kinda stuck with a 754 i know there arent that many processors out there with 754 so it kinda sucks but none the less i picked all that out

Look at getting a socket 754 3200 venice core, and replace the video card with an evga 6800gs. Also dont go with no name ram, get OCZ, G.Skill, or Corsair.

looks like there's a socket 939 mobo up there.. you edit that? if you did, then why's still there a socket 754cpu still? whatever you do definitely do not get socket 754.. its worth losing out a bit (new mobo) for going to 939.

and also change the video card.. try to get 7600gt.. only about $10 more than that one.. and much better...

powersupply.. you can get a good one for like half the price.. but that one is still good.. from the reviews it seems like its a big iffy with asus mobos.. not sure.

as for your ram.. if you don't mind mail in rebates.. you can get some really nice (better timings) ram for the same price. Gskill and OCZ in particular..

you've linked to a few different site.. you'res till getting everything from newegg right?
