Building My First PC

This is my first time building a PC, and I need a bit of help.


I would like an Intel processor at least 2.5 GHz, but don't know which to get. Please make a suggestion.

Also, I need to know which motherboard to pair it with, and what kind of RAM it will need.

if its for gaming then get a AMD Athlon 64 3200+ or more. yeah as timmer said check out newegg.com and read reviews, do some research and ask questions . you gotta be more specefic tho.

i got a 3000+ for gaming, works fine! With an MSI motherboard you can use the D.O.T. technology and overclock it to 3200+ speeds without noticing change in temp =)

and then do your homework check out www.newegg.com like everyone else.

if its for gaming i recommend
amd athlon 3200+
ifs your going to OC then dfi nF4 ultra-D
eVGA 6600GT
1GB of ram 512x2 some nice OCZ ram
and get a good psu
