Nice little build there, b1gapl.

I'd steer clear of 64-bit Vista. Vista is already suffering from a dearth of drivers... the 64-bit version has almost none out.

hmm ok heres the deal bg, you reccomended a mobo that had ddr 800 standard however im planning on dropping in 667 mhz ram and keeping the gskill for myself. can any of you recommend any am2 mobos that use ddr667?

Don't worry, it's alright. When it says supports DDR2 800, it's the standard. It can also support all the lower speeds as well.
