I found your important noted topics very informative. I was wondering if it is alright to post the specs here for review and comments. I use fry's online just as a basis for price, and location accessibility.

Go with the core 2 Duo 6300 - It's far better than the pentium D. It will cost you about $60 more but it's well worth the $.

You can buy that same CD/DVD drive on newegg.com for $47

Also, that video card really sux. You can get a 7600GT for $95

There are some people on this forum that can really hook you up if they know what your budget is and the purpose of the computer. Give them some time and they'll help you out.

It is my opinion that you could get a lot more computer for your money if you shop online.
