Building an Average Gaming Machine

Alright, I've been out of the loop for a while hardware-wise, so I'm going to need some good ideas....

I plan to be able to play WoW, Doom 3....etc...Vista Ultimate with Full Aero, Ubuntu with beryl, and probably OSx86.

So I'm looking for 2GB of Ram, 100GB+ SATA HDD, nVidia Video Card, probably Geforce 7600 GT or something, an AMD 64 X2 Chip...and I guess the PS and Tower just need to be functional.

I have the rest.

I also would prefer to get it all from one website, most-likely newegg, budget is $400-500

I'm fine with 80GB for now, I'm looking for a cheaper, but stable HDD, I'm trying to stay under $500 total (including shipping) I'm very close right now. What are the Advantages of the XFX Brand's model over the eVGa's model, I looked at the specs and obviously there are some enhancements, but what difference will I see?
