I don't think I'd get the crappy sound card... spend more money on a good one, or just use the onboard sound.

Your 1TB drive is really expensive since they are new. I'd recommend a 500GB, or 750GB. You could RAID0 two 500GB drives, have the same storage, get increased performance, and save money.

Splurge for the Tuniq Tower... much better cooler.

i find it odd that the computer from buyxg featured 8800GTS SLI but only a 350 PSU....but anyway..dump the huge hard drive and the KO ultra...buy the cheapest Ultra and a 500GB HD

I might suggest the OCZ Stealth stream for the same price.

Newegg.com - OCZ StealthXStream OCZ600SXS ATX12V / EPS12V 600W Power Supply 100 - 240 V CB, CE, CSA, UL, FCC - Retail

Would RAID0ing the HDDs be any harder to set up than just having the one HDD?

Not really. Just a few more button presses.
Did you see power supply link?

Okay, good, good.

Yes, I did. Thanks for that. It's actually a bit cheaper too with the mail-in rebate. Every little bit counts right.

EDIT: By the way, I can afford to go a couple hundred dollars over $2000.
