didnt know we were talking about a stock hsf here... i thought that you just had your cpu and heatsink there and not ANY kind of thermal paste whatsoever.. im like O_O how hasnt it burnt out yet?

Why don't you just go lower end. If it is just for your parents and they don't game too much why not get a sempron 64. A sempron 3100, 1 gig of ram, a 200 gig seagate, and a dvd burner should be a perfect build for them. You could get this mobo too:

IMO you dont need all those useless parts for a mid range computer.

LOL, no way jose, yah, stock heatsink ftw if you arent going to overclock.

thats why stock heatsink's have their own thermal pad under them, therefore.. as5 or thermal paste isnt a must have thing.

any self respecting computer builder would shudder and and get spots infront of his eyes at the thought of using a THERMAL PAD for thermal draw!
