Default Budget video card

I need a suggestion on a PCI Xpress x16 video card for 130.00 or less for gaming. This is what I was looking at....

Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100218L Radeon HD 2600XT 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail

OR

Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100213 Radeon HD 2900GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - OEM

I would go with the 2600. It is a single slot and 512MB. The 2900 may be faster, but it eats an additional slot and only has 256MB.

the hd2600xt out of those

but if you can get an x1950pro because it actually outperforms both, at one point I was considering the hd2900gt for my new build
