My friend wants to buy a new pc and isn't really high demanding.
Mild gaming, browsing, watching (HD) movies and maybe photoshopping. That's about as demanding as it gets for him.
He's planning on buying next month but wanting some early research.

No monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers needed.
He has a 17" monitor

thinking about this build
Processor Newegg.com - AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 Kuma 2.7GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache 2MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 95W Dual-Core black edition Processor - Processors - Desktops
Mobo Newegg.com - MSI K9A2VM-FD AM2+/AM2 AMD 780V Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards
Ram Newegg.com - Kingston 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory
Videocard Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100255HDMI Radeon HD 4670 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards
HDD Newegg.com - SAMSUNG Spinpoint F DT HD502IJ 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives
Case Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER Elite RC-331-KKN1-GP Black SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases
PSU Antec basiq 350W (no newegg available) I have my doubts about this one since it's the lowest model...
dvd Burner Newegg.com - SAMSUNG Black 22X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 16X DVD+R DL 22X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache SATA 22X DVD Burner - CD / DVD Burners

Newegg links just for info since they don't ship internationally.
Will be searching from Tweakers.net Pricewatch Prijzen
Input wanted about this build. The cheaper the better but still want it to be quality off course.

Thanks

Get this ram:
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory
It's better for the same price.

Could consider this hard drive instead:
Newegg.com - Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives
It has free shipping.

And you could spend like $5 extra for a better quality board:
Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-MA770-UD3 AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards

The 7750 is slightly faster than a E5200 at stock speeds, but the E5200 will probably overclock better.

This is a good cooler, and it comes with thermal paste:
Newegg.com - Sunbeam CR-CCTF 120 mm Core-Contact Freezer CPU Cooler W/TX-2 - CPU Fans & Heatsinks

I can't order from newegg. Those links I posted were just for illustrative purposes (as mentioned in my post). But I appreciate the input.

I search on this site Tweakers.net Pricewatch Prijzen.

So he's better off with 7750?
*Edit*
My friend has decided he's going with the e5200 because of better oc capability.
How about this mobo MSI P43 NEO-F 67 euro's
Or chip in a bit more for Gigabyte ep43 ds3l or s3l around 80 euro's. I see no difference between the 2 when comparing them on the gigabyte site. It's also exactly the same as my ep45 ds3l. I guess i should have bought an ep43 since it's cheaper.

Those gskill ram are 10 euro's more over here :S
Was also thinking 2Gb should be enough for his needs right?
Any recommendations on that?

Antec Basiq 350W good enough or should he get something better?

I don't think he wants to pay alot for a cooler. 20 bucks at most i think.
If he gets an expensive cooler why not get a better cpu... or so he says. And besides, He's not gonna oc that much. Only what can be done safely and easily.

*edit2* Came up with this build. Ram and HDD still the same since he can get it from the same shop.
Cooler Master Elite 331 € 29,90
Antec Earthwatts 380W € 43,00
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro € 17,5
Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L € 79,90
Kingston KVR800D2N5K2/4G, 4GB 800MHz € 32.53
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 € 62,93
Samsung SH-S223F € 18,31 Databyte
Samsung Spinpoint F1 HD502IJ, 500GB € 49,56
asus HD 4670 512MB GDDR3 PCI-E € 62,13

looks pretty good, but that kingstom ram most likely wont overclock much. are there any better kits for th same price?

OCZ 2GB x 2 (4GB) PC6400 Gold GX XTC CL5-5-5-18 (OCZ2G8004GK) € 34,90

He could also go 2gb with better ram if that would be better than 4gb budget ram.
If a better 4gb set would really improve the system I'm sure he's willing to stretch it a bit. Ram these days are pretty cheap.

*Edit*
Oh and Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500Gb is € 9 more than the samsung. Is it worth it?
