To each his own. I've always been very satisfied with the price/performance ratio of budget mATX boards. For 1/2 to 1/3 of what are considered performance boards, I find that the performance loss is more likely to be measured in single digit percentage points in a benchmark. I normally go with ECS boards because they are dirt cheap, but the Asus was even cheaper than the ECS boards I could find.

How well will the gpu run... Thats the crappier part of it... I've never played WoW, but the onboard gpu, i though, wasn't that good.

I looked up the minimum system requirements for WoW when putting a build together and I believe it was a pentium 3. Don't remember what the reccomended was, and am way too tired to check. Night shift sucks.

To the OP I still say stick with the modified build I had in my last post on the first page. Definitely your best option for $500.
