i thought ibm made it for macs before intel... not sure..

but for cell phones pda's etc you can go right down to calculators and say casio, sharp, TI... so i think they meant for desktops...

With Hard Drives, I recommend only Seagate... Maxtor I used to laugh at, but they were bought out by Seagate in May, so I would expect their drives to become higher quality.

Motorola and Freescale made the G4s and IBM made the G5s. Motorola also produced the 680x0 line of procs which were used in Macs from 1984-1995.
