The first gen i7's are still really good for gaming and even heavy tasks compared to say the FX series from AMD.
Wish I had the money to snag that 670 from you if you decide to rid it lol.

Ya I was playing BF3 at 4.8 and my temps stayed in the mid 30's, I was happy.
