Like I've mentioned in previous posts I have kind of been out of the computer hardware loop for a while, but my question is on motherboards with on-board video. I have read posts where people haven't directly mentioned on-board video as being a viable alternative to a separate card, but they did mention it as kind of a plus. Why would anyone want on-board video? As far as I know its pretty much worthless right? Well, if you plan to game or anything . . . is that true? Generally I should be shopping for Motherboard without it right?

Hybrid Crossfire is good for boosting lower-end cards. And onboard video is decent for surfing the web, office stuff, and the like. Recent onboard chips can even handle light gaming and give you the ability to still use your comp if you have to RMA your vid card or are "in-between" cards.
