MY CURRENT SYSTEM LOOKING FOR AS CHEAP OF AN UPGRADE AS POSSIBLE I LIKE TO MULTITASK/PLAY GAMES/Video Encode/Recnder every so often.

I can get hold of an i3 530 CPU
& GA-H55M-S2H (rev. 1.0)

for £80!

That seems cheap to me, it's a real life mate, Would it be a worthwhile upgrade, ( also would it be a noticeable one) whilst keeping my other components and then selling my ram/cpu/board and buying 4GB of DDR3 Ram for £35?

I want a futureproof pc (My current lasted me 3 years) that I wont need to upgrade in a while.

I'm just wondering if the i3 is good for gaming as multi-threaded games are going to be utilizing more than 2 cores soon. ( some already do)
