Hi, recently I updated my BIOS on my motherboard because Borderlands 2 wouldn't run. After I thought I sucseeded, I played alot of the game. After finishing it, I went on to other games, thinking that the BIOS update was a sucsess. After a few weeks, games had these periodical lagging sessions! I'm thinking it's from the update, if you need more info, tell me below Thanks.
P.S. I just defragged my hard drive, updated my drivers and uninstalled useless programs. I'm gonna try to play some games now and see if it still has these sessions.
PC SPECS:
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core Processor, 3300 MHz
GPU: ATI RADEON HD 7700 SERIES
RAM: 2x 4GB
HARD DRIVE: Hitachi HDS721050CLA360 ATA Device (465 GB, IDE)
MOTHERBOARD: MSI 760GM-P21(FX)
