Default bios settings stay when switching cases?

ok, got my new machine runnig all fine and ****, but i've got all these badass UV reactive cables in there where no one can see them....if i switch everything to a new case, i dont need to worry bout losing any bios settings and what not right? really stupid question i know...but it never occured to me how long that little battery on the motherboard really lasts....i'm pretty confident it lasts for ahwile...but i'd feel a lot better if someone can confirm it....

Why in the world would anything happen to your BIOS when you switch cases. And like what was said before, the battery lasts a very long time, although they do tend to go out sometimes for no reason. But they do last an extremely long time.
