Default BIOS help

Ok, im pretty new with BIOS and stuff, i tried setting everything up all devices i have is hdd and dvd-rom when i slick to start windows normally, it flashes a blue screen for less than a second and restarts the computer anybody know whats wrong or do i need give more information. i've just built this computer and used an old hdd which i did NOT format it also still has the same driver for video card, i didn't delete anything at all

Do you mean you took old HD with installed OS and used this for the new built?

If that's the case the best thing to do is to reinstall OS.
