i wouldnt consider my self an expert yet.... but for me building my own computer helped me learn about computers and i like to upgrade just for the poit of getting in there and doing somthing lol

All you gotta do is be broad. Try to learn as much as you can. Jack of all trades master of none is the best way as far as computers are concerned, and if you must master one, it will make it much easier to do so. You already understand most of the things involved.
