That will play both of those games but it isnt best Just the only site I know that sells too canada. The 6600gt is way better than 1600x even if it has 512mb,its more based on clock speeds and pipllines and some memory.

Now were talkin. 7600gt or 7900gt. Do not buy a 6600gt for BF2.

hehe thx guys

just wanted to make sure.. you have pci-express slot right? that card you picked out is not pci its pci-e... and the cards i chose are also pci-express.. so make sure your mobo supports pci-express and not agp.. and make sure your powersupply will be able to handle a new video card.

true, i got a 7800gt and it is really good, best card for gaming though; 7900GTX or ATI X1900XTX are both rather nice

My vote on the best video card for gaming goes to the Nvidia 7900GT. But like aliasaid said, check whether your motherboard supports PCI Express. This How to Choose the Best Video Card for Gaming article explains the advantages of PCI Express technology if you weren't aware of it.

Hope that helps,
Good luck!

The 7900GT gets my vote too, it performs as well as the GTX in some benchmarks, it'll play most things you throw at it on high-settings for quite a while, and it really is good value for money.
