Default Best vid card for $150?

My friend is looking buy a video card(has integrated graphics right now) He's not looking to spend more than $150 for it. Is the 6600GT still the best buy around this price range? (haven't looked at newegg since I bought this system, which was like feb)

Lucky enough for your friend there are even better cards out for around the same price. I am assuming he has PCI-E but I will give you an option for AGP as well.

For PCI express I recommend this

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...183364&CatId=0

And for AGP I recommend

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...Tab=2&NoMapp=0

By the way I highly recommend tigerdirect.com

Let me know what your friend buys!

the second link bigpal gave is your best option

the 7600gt is best in that price range...

also, if you find a x850xt for the same price, that would also be great!

edit: ya i found a couple, and at a great price.. you can't go wrong with it!
