Default Best PCI-e Video card for under $120? :s

After finding out there was such a thing as Pci-e slots instead of VGA <.< I now need a replacement card, but am on a limited budget.

It's a Gateway Desktop (Have listed specs/model in my other thread - 8GB ram, 1TB, intel core 3.2GHz or something)

I need a card to be able to run 'Secondlife' on max settings (Shaders, anti-aliasing,etc) whilst keeping fps higher.
Other games I use are old, some java based, but this is the most demanding 'game' I use, along with Fallout New Vegas (Which my lappys integrated card plays- so I am not too worried about that)

Some cards I have seen are based around are Radeon's HD 5670 and Geforce GT 520 & 430.

Newegg.com - VisionTek 900357 Radeon HD 5670 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
Newegg.com - VisionTek 900310 Radeon HD 5670 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
Newegg.com - XFX GT-520M-CNF2 GeForce GT 520 (Fermi) 2GB 64-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card
Newegg.com - Galaxy 43GGS8HX3SPZ GeForce GT 430 (Fermi) 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

My first instinct is the 2GB card.. but I may be really wrong!

What would you knowledgeable guys on here suggest ( Even if not one of these ? I really don't fully understand the different options these cards have.

My budget is around $100-$120

Many thanks in advance

I will be buying a new Pcu at the same time as the card. Will be a 500W.
Current is a 300 or 350W

It's PSU. But what manufacturer of the PSU are you going to buy?

Just something simple such as Newegg.com - APEX AL-D500EXP 500W ATX12V Power Supply
[h=1]APEX AL-D500EXP 500W ATX12V[/h]
I am yet to really decide... is the PSU manufacturer/model dependant on the cards I can get/run?

You are risking endangering your system, you know. NEVER skimp on the PSU. A cheap one can cost you your whole system.

With me not wanting the top model video cards, I assumed this power supply would be fine? The reviews seem ok o.O

My very very limited experience with power supplys in the past have been 'If it's not compatible/powerful enough - the computer just won't turn on'... But I can see how a bad supply could short the whole system & burn it all up.

One problem keeps leading onto another with this whole upgrading business >.<

A cheap PSU can easily short out and harm your entire system.

Newegg.com - Antec NEO ECO 520C 520W Continuous Power ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Ok, so with that PSU, what is an answer to my question about cards?

And is that other PSU REALLY that bad?

It is REALLY cheap. In the computing world, unless there is good reason, cheap = unreliable.
