Best Laptop for $680

Hey guys, I need to find the best laptop on NewEgg for around $680. My friends brother is graduationing from the police academy so his Mom is buying him a laptop. So what's the best/fastest/most reliable laptop on there for around that price?

I'd say it should have atleast:

60 GB
512 MB
DVD
15.4"

He'd use it for surfing the web/music/etc and maybe a little CS/DoD. I just don't know a thing about mobile processors and video cards.

So, $599+$62= $661

That sounds reasonable to me.

Semprons are getting a little old and slow now...I would say for that price to get a Celeron M as they are better than the semprons.

I would take this notebook, wipe Vista off of it

y would u erase vista, i no it would scream on windows XP, but jujst dual boot XP and Vista, and pt SP1 Vista when it comes out
