I'm a flight simmer but also play San andreas and other PC titiles aswel as Flight Simulator X.

My Sempron 2800+ (754) and Nvidia 6600 256mb run San Andreas with no probs.

It ran FS9 with no probs.

It ran the FSX Demo on max with ultra high and high settings.

The full game, i cant do it. Cant even really play it on medium settings. It stutters so much.

Basically.

Buying a vista ready mobo, AMD Athlox 3500+ and GeForce 7600GS 256MB

Would that be better?

I have 1gig ram by the way

Also how much better is that card (performance, textures rendering)

Also for a system that has

1 DVDRW + 1 CDRW/DVD ROM
3.3 GB IDE
40GB IDE
160GB SATA
2 x 512mb PC3200 Crucial Ram

And possibly the new parts, what would be a reasonable PSU Wattage
